The eduroam network allows use of UF login credentials to connect at nearly 4,000 universities and research facilities in 75 countries. The worldwide, shared Wi-Fi network provides faculty conducting research, staff attending a conference, or students studying abroad with Wi-Fi connectivity as soon as they open their laptops at a member institution.

Closer to home, staff at IFAS research facilities, clinicians at UF Health Jacksonville, and the faculty, staff, and visitors at the UF Research and Academic Center at Lake Nona all utilize the eduroam network. Because of the eduroam partnership, the university community has fast, secure Wi-Fi, whether they’re at a UF location or university member institution around the globe. Vice versa, lecturers and researchers visiting UF from an eduroam member institution can easily connect to UF’s Wi-Fi without a lengthy administrative process.

For the best experience, prepare your devices before leaving Gainesville. Just choose “eduroam” from the list of Wi-Fi options, login with your GatorLink email [username@ufl.edu] and password, and save your credentials. For assistance, contact the UF Computing Help Desk or visit their eduroam Wiki Page for instructions tailored to your device.
